Shri Manoj Mittal – Non-Executive Chairman
Shri Manoj Mittal aged about 54 years has a track record of over 3 decades in propelling organizational growth and profitability through strategic leadership, multi - functional expertise, building / optimizing organizational processes.
At present, Shri Mittal is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IFCI Ltd. Earlier, he worked as a Deputy Managing Director at Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) from Jan 2016 – Jan 2021. He was closely involved in the development of SIDBI Vision 2.0 and its successful implementation to emerge as a financially stronger impact institution.
He had played a lead role in restructuring of dues of Banks to MFIs during the A.P. MFI Crisis in 2010 and implementation of responsible lending initiatives. He also has comprehensive experience in design, management and impact evaluation of various sustainability and developmental programs funded by multilateral agencies / Government of India. He is a Strong Votary of Credit Plus approach for holistic development with expertise in extending capital (Debt and Equity) and development support to MSMEs / Startups, financial intermediaries - Banks / Non-Banking Finance Companies / Micro Finance Institutions, Alternate Investment Funds.
Shri Sachikanta Mishra – Nominee Director
Mr. Sachikanta Mishra is a post graduate in Mathematical Economics and is currently working as Chief General Manager in IFCI Ltd. Mr. Mishra has over 20 years of experience in various fields like Macro-modelling, Corporate Advisory, Risk Management, Project financing, corporate finance etc. He is currently holding a post of Chief Credit Officer of IFCI Ltd. Before holding charge as Chief Credit Officer he was in charge of Mumbai and Delhi Regional Office of IFCI Ltd.
Dr. Sumita Rai - Director
Dr. Sumita Rai is a Professor of Organizational Behavior at MDI. She is a Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, India.
Prior to MDI¸ Dr. Sumita Rai was a member of faculty of Human Resource Group at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow. She has also taught at BEM/Kedge Management School, France University of Szeged Hungary.
She regularly conducts trainings and Leadership Development Programs for PSUs on Advance Management, IAS & defence officers¸ PSB officers, PSE Mid to Senior Leaders and MNCs with a focus on competency mapping and profiling; understanding self, Managerial Effectiveness, Negotiation skills and Conflict Management, Team building, cross cultural training and exploring personality. She has consulted extensively with various Public¸ Private¸ and MNCs in India such as IOCL, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Petronet-LNG, Nestle India Ltd to name a few.
Dr. Rai has published more than 40 research papers in various national and international journals. She has co-authored a book titled “Millennials and the workplace: Challenges for Architecting the Organization of Tomorrow” which has been published by Sage International in May 2012. She has also been actively involved in joint research at national and international levels. She is also working in the area of Ethical Leadership.
Shri Venugopal K Nair - Director
Shri Venugopal K Nair is Director General of Police – Retired with vast experience in the field of Policing and Administration that included Law & order, Security, Vigilance. He also has exposure to Industry having worked as Managing Director of the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation and the State Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation. His stint in Delhi as Director Vigilance in Steel Authority provided him with deep insight into Corporate Governance and Corporate Compliances with a better understanding of corporate malfeasance. At present, he is serving as an Independent External Monitor (IEM) with National Aluminium Corporation (NALCO), Bhubaneswar, NTPC Limited and ITI Bangalore (GOI). He was earlier IEM with Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL), Vizag and also Director of Malabar Cements & Kerala Minerals & Metals Ltd. (Govt. of Kerala). Prior to this, he served Reliance Industries Limited as Advisor Corporate Affairs and Advisor and Consultant to L&T on Kochi Metro Project (KMRL). He had served Kerala Police Administration at various levels from 1980 to 2012. He is MSc. (Fibre Science & Technology) and has a Post Graduate Diploma (Textile Technology) from the University of Leeds, UK.
Shri Vijay Kumar Tyagi – Director
Shri Vijay Kumar Tyagi is a career banker, with profound experience in various verticals of banking in India, and overseas locations in the areas of Corporate credit, International banking, Retail, Agriculture and MSME credit, Remittances, Regulatory Compliance, Risk management, and Corporate Governance. He is a Certified Corporate Governance Professional of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India. His leadership experience includes Administrative, Operational, Managerial, and Board-level experience in India and abroad. He has experience chairing the boards and working as a Director on the boards of overseas subsidiaries of the State Bank of India and has also functioned as the Shareholder’s representative of SBI in various subsidiaries/JVs, like Nepal, Botswana, Mauritius, Bhutan, Indonesia, Russia, Canada, California (USA), and the UK. He has also steered Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Overseas Direct Investment (ODI) sub-division as Director in the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India ensuring growth in FDIs and apt handling of FDI & ODI subject matters, FDI Policy formulations, Foreign Investment policy issues relating to Foreign Venture Capital Investment (FVCI), Alternative Investment Fund (AIFs)- Venture Funds, Angel Funds, Private Equity Funds, etc. He also carries experience of working as Chief Vigilance Officer in Punjab National Bank, National Housing Bank, and Punjab & Sindh Bank.

Shri Rahul Bhave – Nominee Director
Shri Rahul Bhave is a senior banker with over 24 years of commercial banking experience in various capacities and has worked across the country. He was working as Executive Director in National Housing Bank since 2020. He has worked to encourage a strong housing and housing finance system in the country through refinancing, strengthening the credit delivery network at the grassroots level by effective supervision of HFCs. Currently he is working as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) in IFCI Limited.
He has experience in leading various zones in a commercial bank. Apart from expertise in retail operations, he also has experience in the areas of refinancing, supervision, recovery, risk management and IT.
He has also served on committees set up by RBI and IBA on emerging technologies in banking and risk management.
Mr. Bhave holds an MBA in Public Management and Policy and a Master's in Statistics from IIM, Ahmedabad. He has also done CAIIB.

Shri Amrendra Kumar – Managing Director
Shri. Amrendra Kumar is a banker with 20 years of banking and finance experience in various verticals of banking like Corporate credit, Monitoring & Recovery, Retail, Agriculture and MSME credit. Shri Kumar has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance) and BSc (Agriculture). He has been associated with IFCI since 2017 and has experience in Corporate Lending, Monitoring & Recovery and Vigilance Department. Prior to joining IFCI Limited, he has worked with Punjab National Bank and IDBI Bank Ltd.
