Shri Sunil kumar Bansal - Non Executive Chaiman

Shri Sunil Kumar Bansal is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI, New Delhi, Cost Accountant from ICWAI, Kolkata and holds Diploma in Treasury and Forex Management from ICFAI, Hyderabad. He secured All India rank 23rd in CA Final. Shri Bansal served in NABARD at several positions and having vast experience of more than 35 years out of which 22 years as senior executive at NABARD as an Investment Manager, Financial Consultant and Development Banker.

Shri Bansal is having cumulative 10 years Board level experience in organizations like SIDBI, NABCONS & NABVENTURE. Shri Bansal headed state of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh Regional Office as Officer-in Charge/ Chief General Manager.

Shri Bansal has also proven his expertise as member of important Committees set up by Government of India like (i) Working Group on KCC constituted by DFS, MoF, GoI to review the Kisan Credit Card Scheme; (ii) Sarangi Committee on Interest Subvention and DBT; and (iii) Project Management Group where he headed the group which in consultation with Boston Consultancy Group redesigned financial and developmental products at NABARD.

Shri Bansal has headed/participated in several studies and training programme like Study of Micro-credit institutions in Philippines (1998), Exposure visit to 05 European Countries on ‘Management of Change’(2002), ‘Programme on Advanced Corporate Finance’ at London Business School, London (2008), Program on Financial Inclusion and Agriculture Credit, Brazil(2014) etc. Shri Bansal has Specialized Skills in Fund, Liquidity & Treasury Management, Domain knowledge in Finance and Supervision. He has conducted investigations in investment operations of Apex Cooperative Banks.

Besides IFCI Ltd. Shri Sunil Kumar Bansal is also Director on the Boards of Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd., IFCI Venture Capital Funds Ltd., IFCI Factors Ltd. and MPCON Ltd.

 

Shri Prasoon - Nominee Director

Shri Prasoon is BE (Electrical), PGDM in Energy Management, CAIIB and he has passed Limited Insolvency Examination - Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) immediately after setting up of National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). He possesses 20 years rich experience in the field of Credit Appraisal, Sanctioning of Loans, Credit Administration, Contracting, Project Monitoring etc. At present, he is Chief General Manager of IFCI Limited and heading a vertical comprising of Corporate Planning, Sugar Development Fund, Modified Special Incentive Package, MIS and Debt & Equity Syndication. Prior to this, he was Chief Credit Officer and headed stressed asset management vertical of IFCI Limited. He also headed Mumbai Regional Office of IFCI Limited. Presently, he is on the Board of MPCON Limited and IFCI Infrastructure Development Limited as Nominee Director of IFCI Limited.

 

Dr. Sumita Rai is a Ph.D in Organizational Behavior from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, India before joining MDI¸ Prof. Sumita Rai was a member of faculty of Human Resource Group at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow. She taught at BEM/Kedge Management School, France University of Szeged Hungary. Currently she is Professor and Chairperson of Post-Graduate Program in Human Resource Management at MDI. She has consulted extensively with various Public¸ Private¸ and MNCs in India such as Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Petronet-LNG, Nestle India Ltd to name a few. She regularly conducts trainings and Leadership Development Programs for PSUs on Advance Management. IAS & defense officers¸ PSB officers, PSE Mid to Senior Leaders and MNCs with a focus on competency mapping and profiling; understanding self, Managerial Effectiveness, Negotiation skills and Conflict Management, Team building, cross cultural training and exploring personality. She is a certified trainer of MBTI from CPP Asia Pacific. Dr. Rai has published more than 40 research papers in various national and international journals. She has co-authored a book titled “Millennials and the workplace: Challenges for Architecting the Organization of Tomorrow” which has been published by Sage International in May 2012. She has also been actively involved in joint research at national and international levels. Prof Rai also works in the area of Ethical Leadership.

Dr. Sumita Rai - Director

Dr. Sumita Rai is a Professor and Chairperson of Post-Graduate Program in Human Resource Management at MDI. She is Ph.D in   Organizational Behaviour from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, India.

 Prior to MDI¸ Dr. Sumita Rai was a member of faculty of Human Resource Group at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore and   Indian   Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow. She has also taught at BEM/Kedge Management School, France University of Szeged   Hungary.

Dr. Rajeev Uberoi - Director

Dr. Rajeev Uberoi is a career Banker with more than 35 years of experience in both public sector, private sector, and foreign banks. He was also with Reserve Bank of India in the area of Supervision and Regulations. Presently, he is a General Counsel and Audit Head of IDFC Bank Limited. Prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer of IDFC Financial Holding Company. A lawyer and a Banker he has been instrumental in number of mergers and acquisition, ANZ-Grindlays and Standard Chartered Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and American Express Bank, IDFC demerger into Bank and other subsidiaries to name a few. He has been responsible for rolling over half a dozen private equity funds with gross AUM of more than USD 6 billion and incorporating entities overseas and merging some. He is on the boards of number of subsidiaries of IDFC and has handled their Governance & Compliance. He is on the Board of Governors of Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon and is profound writer and has published articles in Journals and National Newspapers.

Dr. Uberoi is a Canadian Commonwealth Scholar withMasters in Economics from McMaster University, Canada, PGBDA from MDI Gurgaon and a Ph.D in Economics.

Shri Venugopal K Nair is Director General of Police – Retired with vast experience in the field of Policing and Administration that included Law & order, Security, Vigilance. He also has exposure to Industry having worked as Managing Director of the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation and the the State Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation. His stint in Delhi as Director Vigilance in  Steel Authority provided him with deep insight into Corporate Governance  and Corporate Compliances with  a better understanding of corporate malfeasance. At present, he is serving as an Independent External Monitor (IEM)  with National Aluminium Corporation ( NALCO), Bhubaneswar, and ITI Bangalore (GOI). He was earlier IEM with Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL), Vizag  and also Director of Malabar Cements & Kerala Minerals & Metals Ltd. (Govt of Kerala). Prior to this, he served Reliance Industries Limited as Advisor Corporate Affairs and Advisor and Consultant to L&T on Kochi Metro Project (KMRL). He had served Kerala Police Administration at various levels from 1980 to 2012. He is MSc. (Fibre Science & Technology) and has a  Post Graduate Diploma (Textile Technology) from the University of Leeds, UK.

Shri Venugopal K Nair - Director

 Shri Atul Saxena – Managing Director

Shri Atul Saxena has more than 20 years of rich and diverse experience in Technical and Management Consultancy of Infrastructure sector projects, Project Management and Contract Administration of Oil & Gas sector projects and Corporate Credit functions including Project & Structured Finance and NPA Recovery. At present, he is General Manager and Principal Officer of IFCI Limited. At IFCI, he had headed South Zone Office, Chandigarh Regional Office and Hyderabad Regional Office. He had also headed various departments of IFCI such as Credit Department, Corporate Advisory and Corporate Planning. Prior to joining IFCI, he had worked with Engineers India Limited and PwC. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Kanpur and PG Diploma in Management from IIM Calcutta.
